  • 2 scoops of The Man Shake Chocolate powder
  • 1 cup of natural peanut butter (smooth or crunchy based on preference)
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons of honey (adjust to taste)


  • A pinch of salt to enhance flavours (especially if using unsalted peanut butter)
  • Toppings: Extra oats, cocoa powder, or desiccated coconut


  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine The Man Shake Chocolate powder and rolled oats. If you're adding salt, mix it in now.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Add the peanut butter and honey to the bowl. If the peanut butter is quite thick, you might want to gently warm it in the microwave for a few seconds to make it easier to mix.
  3. Combine: Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. You can use a spoon or spatula at first, but as the mixture thickens, you might find it easier to use your hands to ensure everything is thoroughly mixed.
  4. Roll the Balls: Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls. The size is up to you, but around 1 inch in diameter is a good standard size. If the mixture sticks to your hands, wetting them slightly can help.
  5. Coat (Optional): Roll the balls in your choice of coating – extra oats, cocoa powder, or desiccated coconut work well.
  6. Chill: Place the protein balls on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  7. Store: Once set, the protein balls can be transferred to an airtight container and stored in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for a longer shelf life.
